  Sat instantly, given water and took drink and appetizer order. Then didnt see my server for 40 mins. Left unhappy about service.

  Amazing atmosphere with brick, metal, candles, and hardwood. (2010s music soundtrack was kinda funny though.) We raved about the appetizer, drinks, and food as it came out and we devoured it.

  My friends and I kicked off our 2nd year of Restaurant Club at Jefe Urban Cocina along the Mississippi River on an unexpectedly top ten weather day in Minneapolis. The unusually warm temps and the Timberwolves game later on had the city buzzing with energy and anticipation. Our server, KP and the entire staff were slammed. Through it all, KP was pleasant, accommodating and made our night memorable. the small plate options and the street tacos were flavorful for a Midwestern-based restaurant. The chicken tinga tacos, salsa verde, smoked-mango habanero salsa, and local craft beer and cocktail selection received high marks. We'll all be back to enjoy the deck next time!

  The atmosphere is cozy and the noise level is low. Our server was very friendly and was patient with us. Most of us in our group had tacos, which were good. I liked the fish taco with mango salsa. Another person got their beef plate, which looked better than the tacos. Overall, not a lot of choices, and the portion sizes are good, but not as large as similar restaurants. I was super hungry and had to rely on chips and salsa to get full. Our server mentioned they had gluten-free chips if we wanted. But didn't ask if I was OK with corn tortillas, or if I wanted to switch to wheat. Not sure if they did have that option. Most probably, they did.
