Everything was great from start to finish! Our server Daniel and our wait assistant Cooper were fantastic! Both were very personable and attentive; it was very enjoyable chatting with them! The happy hour is among the best in the city! Very reasonably priced drinks and appetizers. The Cod special was very tasty and the Baked Alaska was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! The banana ice cream with fudge and caramel they used was spectacular! A phenomenal evening!

One of my favorite restaurants! Oceanaire never disappoint. For years this was the birthday spot. The steaks are always cooked perfectly . The lobster is fantastic. It has a great atmosphere with friendly staff.

Every thing was ok till, we were shhhhshed by a person that was not our server, this guy just came to our table of 5 to say we need to be quiet, excuse me we booked a birthday party for 5 this is not a library we were not excessive it was sort of empty but, it's the way he approached with the verbage that was a noooo for me and then he threatened to call the cops which was just excessive for real no need to take it that far, customer service retraining definitely needed. Needless to sat don't worry we will nevaaaaa evaaaaa return to your establishment again.I do not recommend for parties over 2 people . Very disrespectful no maners or people skilks. Thank you

I have never felt so out of place in my life. My wife and I walked in and immediately felt out of place, but we didn’t let people’s long stares bother us. After being seated, I asked the hostess if the booths were reserved, and she said yes, even though no table had a sign indicating it was reserved. The food was okay. The sushi and buttermilk calamari were great, but the oyster rock was salty. The absolute worst part was that the restaurant was freezing. It felt like they had the air conditioner on, and we were placed right underneath the vents. It’s winter in MN, so please be serious. When I asked if we could be seated at a different table, and there were other tables available, we were told that all the tables were full, even though I saw with my own eyes two free tables and multiple free booths. The wait time for a seat was low, if there was any at all. Not sure, because we had reservations, which makes this even worse. They were not too booked. We were too black. Will never go back. Update: Called and spoke with a manager and was told all the tables have vents above the tables. No apologie he told me I should have brought a jacket! Then told me I don't have the right to make this about race when it clearly was. he explained why the AC was on and told me all the tables are underneath vents and again that I should’ve brought a jacket no apology just excuses.

We went on Saturday the 7th to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered the 8oz crab legs, the chef’s special sushi, and the lobster mac & cheese. We also had drinks and dessert. A couple of hours later, I started vomiting and continued throughout the entire night. The next day, we had to go to the ER because the vomiting would not stop. We called the restaurant and tried to speak with the manager, but we were told he was not available and wouldn’t return until Wednesday. When we were finally able to speak with him, his only solution was to leave notes in OpenTable so that the next time we come back, we would receive complimentary appetizers and drinks. He also told us that food poisoning takes at least four hours to start, so he doesn’t believe it came from the restaurant. It was very disappointing to hear that response instead of genuine concern about what happened. That was not what we wanted. We were very disappointed that the manager showed no real concern about the fact that we got sick after dining there. Terrible experience.
