Dined with a group of 8. The food was good but the service was really bad. Our appetizers never came and neither did one of the desserts we ordered. Our server was made aware of his mistakes and he did nothing to make it right. The bourbon list is extensive, impressive and fairly priced but they were out of numerous of the pours we ordered. Some of them they said they haven't had in months - why not update your menu or at least make the staff aware so we don't sit there for 5 minutes in between ordering and being told they were out and having to review the list again to order something different? The waiters also served most people the wrong plates of food. That's expected at a lesser restaurant but not a place the caliber of Stock & Bond.

Beautiful place for atmosphere. Food is expensive and so we were expecting better. Our stake for 2 for $165 was over done and supposed to be 40 oz and luck if it was 30 oz. We had the Brussel sprouts and they had a pungent smell that almost recked my appetite. I could wait for them to take them away. Then the table next to us got them and it as horrible again. You shouldn’t serve food that everyone has to endure such a smell! I was so looking forward to amazing meal and was disappointed. Our service was great and he was very attentive and they have very professional dress that make it feel like a top end restaurant. Very mixed crowd. Some well dressed people and then sweatshirts and jeans.
Goodness what a BEAUTIFUL venue - I originally chose this place as my 30th birthday spot simply because I love historical architecture/repurposed buildings.. it didn't disappoint. GORGEOUS.
Starter bread? Fantastic. Zero notes. For appetizers; we got the cesear salad and the salmon crispy rice. Cesear was good imo, my boyfriend said it was a little too citrus-y for him (it was a "fresher" lemon-y flavor so skip if you dont like that), but agreed that it was more of a personal preference problem. Crispy rice was nice. Flavorful but not overpowering.
Entrees and sides we got: Short rib tagliatelle (which has now replaced the well-known short rib ravioli - if youre looking for that I'm sorry to say its not currently available) and the 8oz wagyu along with the whipped potatoes and mac and cheese. Boyfriend couldn't stop raving about the short rib in the pasta. Said it was some of the best he's had (he's a frequent orderer of it when its offered), potatoes were simple but DELICIOUS. Wagyu came with a very tasty crust. I struggled to cut it via my knife being a little dull - our server promptly brought it back for the chef to cut and I really appreciated that little gesture. Mac and cheese was tasty but at this point it was simply too much food so we only really picked at it.
Ordered dessert but took it to go so I didnt get a chance to try it. Staff takes your food, boxes it for you and brings it back neatly bagged. Another nice touch.
Staff mentions: the hostess was very kind, got us in right away (which I know any wait wouldnt have been her fault and was entitely prepared for), and didnt make the walk-in feel like an inconvenience. Coat check person was very polite and sweet, took my coat as soon as we were comfortably seated.
Big shout out to our server Greg though - I mostly wanted to write a review just to tell Greg what a great job he did. Checked in the perfect amount, offered good advice and opinions on the menu options and was very knowledgeable. I am also a server and I just love being able to possibly brighten someone else's day by complimenting their service. Thank you Greg! Keep up the lovely work.

We recently enjoyed a truly exceptional evening for a party of four at Stock & Bond, and the entire experience was flawless, from the initial service to the final bite of dessert. The restaurant successfully delivers on its promise of a modern classic American steakhouse, rich in both flavor and history.
The service was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the night.
We began our culinary journey with an array of appetizers that were immediate highlights. The Caviar Tots were a decadent twist on a comfort classic, and the Oysters in the Half Shell were perfect. The house-baked bread, served warm, was also a delightful start.
The cocktail program is clearly a point of pride. We indulged in expertly crafted classic whiskey drinks, including a rich Manhattan and a perfectly balanced Old Fashioned, alongside a fun, personalized Build Your Own Martini. A bottle of Super Tuscan paired beautifully with our main courses. Our only minor complaint was typical of many Minnesota whiskey bars: the impressive list can be misleading when certain allocated or hard-to-get selections are out of stock, a reality that even a lovely restaurant like this cannot entirely escape.
The new Beet Salad was a delicious, featuring beets and citrus paired with the delightful creamy tang of whipped goat cheese.
For our main courses, the heritage steaks and entrees were the stars. The Dry Aged Rib Eye and the Ranch Wagyu were cooked to absolute perfection, boasting deep, savory flavor profiles that pay tribute to the Midwest-based Linz family beef. The Short Rib Ragout was rich and comforting, and the Roasted Chicken was tender and flavorful.
Though we were thoroughly satisfied, we couldn't resist splurging on dessert. The 16 Layer Chocolate Cake was certainly tasty but perhaps a little dense. However, the Bread Pudding was phenomenal—warm, deeply flavored, and incredibly moist. It is a dessert I would highly recommend to anyone dining here.
Overall, Stock & Bond provided a magnificent, high-quality dining experience that is highly recommended for a special occasion or just a truly excellent meal out.

I was excited to dine at Stock and Bond for the first time last night. I had read all of the articles online about the venue. I also had read many of the Google reviews. Several reviewers had complained about the loud music. While I was waiting in the bar/lounge for my dining companion to arrive, suddenly the music in the room was turned up to nightclub level. Obviously, the enterprise is choosing not to take diner's review comments into account. I immediately spoke with an employee and told them that if the music was not turned down, I would not dine there. Thankfully, the music was turned down so that diners could have a conversation without screaming. My dining companion and I found our server Tim to be off-putting. He had a flippant style of communicating more suitable for Outback Steakhouse, rather than a high-end restaurant. He also was rather dismissive when my dining companion expressed a concern about serving sparkling water in a bottle larger than one meter in size that does not come with a screw-top cap - - meaning that much of the water goes to waste rather than being able to taken home. The server should have mentioned the size of the bottle before serving. The restaurant lighting was so low that one could not truly appreciate all of the beautiful flooring and other aspects of the space. The room would feel much warmer if the lighting was increased just slightly. The food we ordered was excellent, served hot and with great flavors. The bread pudding was the best we ever had, because it was not super-sweet like most.
