  I started going here regularly. Delicious biryani, chat, and idli . I really like that they have snack / light meal options as well , perfect for students

  I am so grateful this place has opened right next to work. This place is everything that was missing, availability to chai and affordable meals. It also even has a couple shelves of groceries, which is incredibly clutch. I highly recommend this place if you’re on campus. Life is better with this place around.

  This place is not worth it, ordered a papdi chaat thinking it’d be a good snack. Asked how big is a serving of it and was served something significantly smaller. It’s also extremely cold and potato is uncooked, not sure how you can mess up an easy chaat dish and make it taste bad? Not worth go literally anywhere else nearby and if you want Indian go to pizza karma or clay oven.

  Probably the best value for money meal in the twin cities. Kumar’s Express offers south indian comfort food fast and cheap, though not fresh. The employees who work here are also extremely kind, and were willing to serve me even as they had almost finished closing. The interior is casual and has a small shop with classic Indian grocery comforts for quick wants on a budget.

  The chicken biryani was great! I have never had Indian food before so my opinions should be taken with a grain of salt, but I enjoyed the flavor and thought the prices were reasonable. I tried the Idly 2pc side and thought it was just OK. It is kind of plain and the sauce is difficult to dip because the container for it is small. I would have preferred if the food was spicier but I do not know if biryani is supposed to be spicy or not. Regardless, it tasted great and the portion sizes are what I expected. The food came out it about 10-15 minutes, so very fast. Overall great restaurant, will be returning.
