  our service was amazing, our server was kinsley. he went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. the food however, was not up to par with the price. my quesabirria tacos did not come with cilantro and the onions were on the side? my friend’s carne asada was too expensive for the portion size or sides. atmosphere was great. would reccomend to someone who does not care about how much money they spend

  Love this place! Jefe Urban Cocina is absolutely one of my favorite go-to places. The food is always on point and the crew brings the best energy. Big shout-out to Chloe, Ryan, KP, Woody…. and honestly everyone who works here. They’re all super friendly and make the place feel welcoming every time I come in. I’m lucky I live close, because I find myself here often. 😊 Definitely recommend.

  Made reservations for Valentine's Day. The first impression was that this is a nightclub. Loud hip-hop music playing where you can't even carry on a conversation. Definitely not a romantic vibe whatsoever. The penalty for not showing up for the reservation is $25 a person, so we dined anyway. I was seated in a high traffic area where I was constantly bumped by the service staff while they ran back and forth serving the dining room. The real bummer is this. My wife ordered the carne asada plate for $34 dollars and I order the Fajita plate for $17. When our meals came out, my wife asked if she got the wrong thing since it looked identical to mine. I figured, its dark in here so probably hard to tell. We took leftovers of her meal home and the next day, I go to reheat and eat it and it's the same exact thing I ordered, but for half the price. Not sure what the hype is, but this place is not worth it. Plenty of beautiful dining rooms in the city that actually provide a Valentine's Day vibe, which this place said they did -- the nearly dead candle in the middle of the table was pretty lame. I will say our waiter was great. He'd do well in any establishment though.

  The ambience was great, and the food was amazing. I had delicious shrimp tacos. I also could have eaten the chips and salsa trio all night. Can’t wait to go back!
