This place definitely specializes with coffee and had a pretty awesome selection, although pretty comically expensive. The prices were the only reason I gave this place a 4/5 because I found the food to be pretty solid especially the breakfast sandwhich and loaded hashbrowns. The side salad was excellent too definitely above average. But the portions (except for the breakfast sandwich) were all on the smaller side and I have a hard time justifying prices this high for breakfast. Not atypical for north loop though so I doubt anyone would be too surprised. Overall a really nice spot but nothing special.

I usually frequent the stp location & get the pork belly gravy dish that is super good, I decided to switch it up and get a steak bagel sandwhich this time, unfortunately not my fav, they kinda just threw a slab of steak in between a bagel lol very hard & messy to eat. Parking in the mpls location is hard to find & quite expensive.

Drink orders came up quick, then took awhile before we could order food. Cold draft blowing down over our table and turning hot drinks cold quickly. Food orders came out sporadically. While my breakfast sandwich was hot, the hash browns under it barely had any warmth left to them. Biscuit for the breakfast sandwich fell apart after 2 bites. Mediocre food overall for myself. Unimpressed as this was my second time with Hope Breakfast Bar. Prefer not to waste my money there again as there are many more brunch spots with better food, service and overall satisfaction.
