  NOT OPEN! Don’t go here, they don’t update their hours on Google/Yelp or give any clue about their hours on their website or social media. Are they closed permanently or just closed for the season? Who knows!

  Came here for the 1st time, about a week ago. I had family here from out of town and my usual place was closed. Couldn't stop thinking about that great ice cream I had. The ice cream itself is a 5 star. BUT... last night I ordered thru GrubHub approc 730pm. Per their website, they were open until 9pm. My order was canceled around 8pm, because they were closed. Mind you, this was after a driver had been dispatched. Today, I'm out running errands, and decide to stop in and get some ice cream. Again, per the website, they open at noon I've been sitting in the parking lot since 1155. It's now 1226, and they still haven't opened. This is why they got 2 stars. Time and money wasted. I'll go back to my usual spot.

  We went there for the waffle cones and they did not have them. Ended up getting waffle bowl and that was not the same as the waffle cone.

  There are so many ice cream options, it was hard to choose! I ended up ordering a single scoop of taro ice cream for ~$8.00. It was a generous helping, and I feel I should have gotten a kid's size. A great place to stop by for a sweet treat after a walk around the lakes.

  Love the ice cream BUT...they don't have information regarding allergens available at the Nokomis location beyond labeling flavors NF/GF on their sign (i.e. eggs). If you have questions, no one responds to the email address listed on their site or their Instagram account. The staff in store (at both locations) are super friendly and want to be helpful, but aren't given enough information or trained by management on the topic--Grand Ave. staff told us their "best guess." Disappointing that we can't go there anymore since ice cream isn't worth risking my child's health.
