Magically he walked back and our food was ready. He offered to comp our meal due to ongoing kitchen issues. Waitress then went to the table next to us and complained about how we got out meal free even though they also had slow service. Most petty thing I've ever seen.

I get it was a busy night and they were a bit behind but it took over an hour and a half to get our food after we ordered and it had clearly been done for some time before they brought it to us. it was full when we got there and by the time we got food over half the tables were empty and there were people seating after is getting their food before us. There were a few people nearby with similar complaints as well
