Walked off the street with a gift card and was told I wasn’t allowed to order food.
They “switched to online ordering only”. Another review that the district manager made the call on the first of the year to do this because they are short staffed. I won't be going back to this location.

I absolutely love eating at Chipotle, but this experience keeps happening at this particular restaurant. We placed an online order for two steak bowls and one chicken bowl. When we picked up the order and brought it home, we noticed that the two steak bowls did not have any meat in them. This is now the second time we have ordered online and had the same issue, where the bowls were missing meat.
Because I did not want this to happen again, I went back to the store to get it fixed. There were only four people ahead of me, so I waited patiently instead of cutting to the front. When I got to the counter, I tried to explain the situation to the employee, but she cut me off before I could finish and asked why I did not go to the front. I told her I just needed the steak, and she referred me to another employee next to her.
I explained the situation again, and she called the manager over. I once again explained what happened, and he went to speak with someone else about the order. After that conversation, he asked if they could remake our order. I said that would be perfect, and then waited another 15 minutes for it to be completed.
Please be cautious when ordering food online, as items may be missing from your order. I will not be ordering from this location again. I also tried providing feedback online, by phone, and through Pepper, but none of those options were helpful. Please do better, Chipotle.

this review is directed at your MN Area Regional Manager (Michelle Ellis). I went last night 1-1-26 to pick up dinner and see a sign in the door that says "Online Orders Only" while there are 8 staff members inside working. When i asked the store manager about it (didn't get his name) he said they were short at another store and the regional manager made the call to put all the stores at Online Only. One of your staff members did offer to help me as I am a regular there, and the manager said something to another employee in Spanish then told her no. I did file a complaint with you customer service as well, while on the phone with them, you have another 6 people walk out because of this. As someone who runs a business, if I operated like this I would be out of business in no time. You need to address this with her directly, trust me, if I could have found her phone number I would have.
