We won't be back to the Mahtomedi location. We went through the drive-thru last night to pick up our Blizzards. All had lids on them, and were not full to the top. I expressed my disappointment that they had lids, as other DQ locations do not lid them, in order to allow for the Blizzard's ample portion size to extend beyond the container. I also mentioned that with a lid on, they are not able to "turn them upside down", as other locations do, to demonstrate the thickness of the Blizzard. She stared at me blankly, finally stating "We don't participate in the turning the Blizzard upside down process." It's no wonder, as when we removed the lids from our Blizzards, it was mostly melted ice cream. It would have fallen right out of the cup. Not at all a positive experience. Please be generous with portions, do not lid them unless requested, and turn them upside down, which holds you accountable for serving a great product.
