We were really looking forward to celebrating Lent with our family at this local restaurant. We’d heard so many great things about their fish fry and were excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, the experience was a huge letdown from the moment we sat down. Our server (a blonde woman working behind the bar) immediately scoffed at our drink order and slammed several of the drinks onto the table. When it was time to order food, she didn’t even let us look at the full menu as she just assumed everyone was having the fish fry and abruptly asked, “Tots or fries?” As we tried to check the kids’ options for our infant, her facial expressions were very clear and walked away without a word, clearly annoyed that we were taking too long. When the food finally arrived, a couple of us wanted to order a second round since it was all-you-can-eat. We spent about ten minutes trying to flag her down before she finally went to the kitchen and brought back just two small baskets of fish, for the four of us to share. We left feeling stressed, unwelcome, and like we had been a burden instead of valued customers. What started as an eager family outing turned into a frustrating and disappointing evening. We won’t be back, which is so unfortunate as we were looking forward to a community based restaurant. To also reply to the owners comments, she was the only person waiting on people when the restaurant opened. I believe a second employee came to serve customers after we had the food ordered and delivered to us which was maybe 45 minutes to an hour later, I wasn’t keeping tabs. So maybe that day was short staffed? If she was the bartender, there were no other employees serving customers during our time and an additional bartender who only focused on the bar. She was taking care of the whole dining area. But if you want to comment back to a customer who had an experience like this and reply like you did, I think the whole situation speaks for itself.

I don’t normally complain about food or service. We stopped in for a drink. Loretta was the most unfriendly bar tendress I’ve ever had. Bad vibes from the get go. And we watched her with another couple, and they appeared to have bad service, and food also. Will never go back. She must hate her job.

Hope you like cheese on your pizza, holy cow! We went for the first time last night. I've heard from others that the pizza was really good. The place was not busy at all for a Sunday night. They also have a Sunday special of a free pitcher of beer with a pizza purchase (unfortunately, we were not wanting any beer). We ordered a large "house" pizza (supreme). The pizza came out quick and hot. The pizza is a thin crust with loads of toppings. The cheese was, no kidding, about a 1/2 thick! Priced well for $26. I only have two negatives from my experience. One, the pizza came with canned mushrooms. I would prefer fresh, not a big deal. Two, the one simple cocktail we ordered was quite expensive. In the end, I felt we got our moneys worth. For two people, we'll have enough left overs for a few days off the beast of a pizza. On a side note, we noticed their Wednesday special is $2.50 burgers. We've already made plans to go back and try these. I'll update this review with our burger experience if I remember.

Came with a friend for bingo. I got the bone-in Buffalo chicken wings basket. Very flavorful and saucy. Fries were fresh. Service was good. We walked with 3 bingo wins and $93 in each of our pockets! Win win. The pizza here is to die for. Tons of cheese!
