  Had to pick an item up at Fluegels today so stopped in to the Hastings McDonald’s for an iced coffee. The order taker informed me they were out of the sugar-free vanilla so I opted for the regular vanilla. Wow! What a disappointment. I ordered a large and the cup was so filled with ice I could barely get the straw in. The color of the drink was nearly pure white and when I tasted it, it just tasted like milk on ice. There was only a small hint of vanilla. When I got home, I scooped the ice out, and there was less than a half a cup of beverage left. Won’t order a drink from them again. The line for the drive-through was rather slow at least compared to other McDonald’s that I visit.The food however, was fine. Nonetheless, I won’t bother to visit this one again. Wish I had asked for my receip so I could’ve possibly completed the survey. Don’t know if management is aware of these issues. Updated 4-9-26 After seeing McDonald’s response to my review here, I went to the link they provided. I don’t know what they were thinking, I told them in this review I don’t have a receipt so I couldn’t give receipt number, the fill in the blanks were limited, making it difficult to explain this issue. Because I didn’t have a receipt number I had to go to their map and try to locate their location on a nationwide map. I first tried the search by ZIP Code and got an error message. I then tried the manual search method (not easy to manipulate their map function on a cell phone). The amount of time and effort to try to respond to their reply wasn’t worth it. They know what the problem is based on my review there’s nothing more they need to know to address the issue. Come on McDonalds, you can do better than this. Ba-da-ba-ba-baaa.

  After waiting for 20 minutes, I asked the manager about our order of 2 happy meals and a large drink. She went and put it together at that point; no one had worked on it at all. When we got the happy meals, the chicken nuggets were luke-warm. Trash was spilling out of the recepticles, the floors were sticky and covered with food. We couldn't find a clean table. There weren't lids for the large drink. There were no napkins in the dispensers. Honestly, just go somewhere else. You'd be better to drive to Cottage Grove if you want to go to a McDonald's.

  Reported to the manager, Juan, that my big arch burger was completely pink. He told me that that is exactly how it is supposed to be, and he told me that every big burger gets checked with a thermometer and then spoke to another manager after eating the sandwich and was told it never is supposed to be pink. So thanks Juan I’ll keep my fingers crossed!!!

  Everyone got different food, but it was hot.Fresh and made too our liking even though the quarter pounders had a little bit of pink inside It is beef. So I'm not worried about getting sick. I just want to give a big shout out to Juan who took our order, he was great.

  The morning crew is so goooooood. They are so nice. This nice lady gave me and my family some treats at the first window. W mcdonalds worker. Morning crew is 10/10. They didn't forget anything either.
