That said, the interaction was really disappointing. I asked for a cup and was told no because of Free Cone Day. I then offered to buy one, and the employee abruptly shut the window. When she came back, she handed me a cup and shut the window again without saying anything. A little communication and kindness would’ve gone a long way — I likely would’ve even tipped.
