I ordered one bagel and a small coffee and was prompted to leave a $4 tip, which felt extremely inappropriate for such a small order. After selecting zero tip, the employee’s attitude noticeably changed and she was rude for the remainder of the interaction. I also realized afterward that I never received my rewards points in the app, which felt questionable given the timing. Asking for tips at that level in a drive thru feels more like panhandling than customer service. I don’t mind tipping when it makes sense, but this experience left a bad impression and made the visit awkward and frustrating.

It’s really disappointing to see a company raise its prices but lower the quality and quantity of the product that they’re giving you. Unless big changes happen probably won’t be going back to a Bruegger‘s in the future. P.S. We got 3 bagels and the other two had just and much on even less cream cheese. For $4 each bagel it’s not worth it anymore.
