My disappointment was immeasurable… until I smelled the fries. Then suddenly my loyalty returned like a boomerang dipped in salt. Even without tacos, McDonald’s still delivers the goods. The fries are iconic, the McChicken is basically a hug in sandwich form, and the ice cream machine—shockingly—was actually working that day. A true holiday miracle. Would I still love a McTaco? Absolutely. Will I keep coming here anyway? You bet. Because nobody does “we don’t sell tacos, but here’s some fries that will change your life” quite like McDonald’s. 10/10, would come back to not get tacos again.
