- RSR. SmithApr 12, 20262.0I walked up to the counter and asked for a kids taco meal. The gal started asking me what I’d like on each taco. She had set down 3. Once I got to the register to pay, the cashier said the kids taco meal only comes with 1 taco. I was like well, I don’t know what YOUR policies are and I ordered the kids taco meal. He said- do you accept these other 2 tacos? I said uh sure? He said well then I’m going to need to charge you more money. I said that’s not really my problem, I asked for the kids taco meal whatever that might be. He couldn’t wrap his head around his mess and the line was stacked up behind me and in an effort to get out of this awkward mess I said whatever, I’ll pay and accept whatever. As it seemed if I didn’t “accept” the 2 already made tacos they were going to be thrown in the trash and I wasn’t going to be able to get the sides that were supposed to come with the meal. So I didn’t want to pay $7 for one small taco and no sides. I ended up with 3 small tacos and it was $12. If I don’t frequent a place often and I order from the menu I expect they should know what to serve me. I shouldn’t be surprised and asked to cover their mistakes upon paying. Absolutely ridiculous and awkward.
