  We've been coming here for a couple years and have always had great experiences. And since the new owners took over, it's only gotten better. The quality of the raw fish in their sushi is unrivaled, and the small changes they have made to the atmosphere have only elevated the experience!

  Can not ask for better service, menu selection, and food quality. Annie takes service to the next level, inviting and friendly. We had the miso ramen this past visit and it was top notch. The previous visit we ordered several sushi rolls and each of them were very good and the service from Annie was spectacular on this visit as well. You will not be disappointed!

  10/10 experience at Sushi Dabu!! The sushi we got was excellent, by far the best in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area. We tried their chutoro nigiri, special seared salmon nigiri, salmon avocado roll, and fire island roll. All were amazing but this place really shines on their fish quality so the nigiri were our favorite. The vibe, service and hospitality was also very special, food came fast, and we got to chat with the sushi chef.

  Tried Sushi Dabu and had a really great experience. The sushi was fresh, well-prepared, and everything we ordered was consistently good. What really stood out, though, was our waitress Annie. She has an incredible memory and got our entire order perfectly without writing anything down, and she even remembered us from our last visit. That level of attention really stood out. On top of that, she was genuinely kind and attentive, and made the experience feel very welcoming without being overbearing. Great food and even better service. I’ll definitely be back, and Annie made it especially memorable.

  Came in just before most restaurant's typical dinner rush (about 5 p.m.) and were seated immediately. Our server Annie was very sweet and attentive. She asked us if we'd visited before and thanked us for returning. We ordered sushi and individual meals. Our orders were put in quickly and arrived in appropriate time. All the fish was fresh and delicious with quality portions for the price. Highly suggest the tuna rolls! It's the best ahi in the area. Overall experience was excellent. Sushi Dabu is a gem in our community!
