  Affordable and great taste, added bonus spice done right. Was in the area and decided to check out this highly rated place and it didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly and fast. Had the chicken pad Thai hot and it had great taste and the hotness was perfect. a good balance of hot but also flavorful hot as a additional flavor texture of the food. So good. One of the more affordable meals I've had out lately for lunch and I appreciate that because budgets are tight. What a great lunch break:) Thanks for having me!

  Prices are different than online. Was told “our prices always change” but they haven’t updated the online menu. Anyways I ordered sticky rice and Hmong sausage, I got home and tasted it and realized the sausage had a slight spoiled taste as if the meat maybe isn’t being stored properly or it’s just spoiled. I called asking to swap out my items because I see they say they don’t offer refunds, only to be told by the person on the phone that they just ate the same thing as me and it tasted fine to them. I told her that I eat Hmong sausage weekly and I’ve had it from different places, but theirs has a very off putting taste to the meat. She then kept repeating herself stating that she didn’t find anything wrong when she ate it, and that everyone’s sausage is made differently and theirs is fresh. I then asked if she makes them in house, to which she responded that they order their sausages. So I’m confused on how anything frozen can be absolutely fresh? I can tell where she was heading with the convo and the constant back and fourth argument she was trying to pursue by stating that I was wrong for tasting what I’m tasting. Anyways safe to say I’m his is my first and last time coming here. I’ve had to order food from somewhere else tonight instead. They do have signs that state they don’t offer refunds or swaps but I thought due to the sausage tasting old that they would allow me to bring it back and get something else, maybe that doesn’t have meat. They won’t and I promise they don’t care. NOTE: the sausage I recieved has a complete different color than the sausages in their pics, mines had a very grayish inside. The pepper dip sauce is pure salt it doesn’t have any other flavor profiles.

  Som Jai Thai Cuisine – Warren, MI 👍👍👍👍 A low-key Thai restaurant in Warren, Som Jai Thai Cuisine offers a variety of traditional dishes in a quiet, no-frills setting. While the service and pricing are fair, our experience with the food quality on this visit fell short of expectations. FOOD QUALITY 👎 We ordered Panang Curry (initially with chicken, but had to switch to vegetables as the chicken didn’t taste fresh), along with fried rice, noodles, and soup. The soup was the highlight, but the rest lacked the flavor and freshness we expected—possibly due to visiting near closing time. SERVICE & HOSPITALITY 👍 The staff was friendly and responsive. They quickly accommodated our request to change the protein and ensured we were comfortable, even with the late dining hour. VALUE FOR MONEY 👍 The pricing was reasonable for the portion sizes. We appreciated that the veg substitution came without added cost, and nothing on the menu felt overpriced. AMBIENCE & CLEANLINESS 👍 Simple and tidy interior with a relaxed atmosphere. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and has subtle Thai decor touches. LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY 👍 Easily accessible with ample parking, the restaurant is conveniently located in a strip plaza right off the main road in Warren.
