  My family and I have been coming to this Baskin-Robbins quite often and it had become our go-to spot for taking the family out for ice cream. At first there were a few minor inconveniences here and there, which we didn’t think much of. However, tonight was very disappointing. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing time and the doors were locked. We waited for a moment thinking maybe someone would come let us in, but the employee working made eye contact with us and simply walked away without acknowledging us. If the store needed to close early, a sign or a quick explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, experiences like this make it hard to want to return. Very disappointing. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

This was not just a missed order; it was a devastating blow to a celebration specifically planned for my nephew and his friends, all of whom are on the autism spectrum. ​For children who thrive on routine and clear expectations, a birthday party is a high-stakes event. We chose your company because we trusted you to deliver. Instead, your negligence left a group of neurodivergent children confused, distressed, and without the central symbol of their celebration. The emotional meltdown caused by your lack of professionalism was entirely avoidable and deeply cruel. ​Your failure shows a complete lack of accountability and a disregard for your customers.

  had a very disappointing and stressful experience at Baskin-Robbins, 5847 13 Mile Rd, Warren, MI. We placed an order through DoorDash hoping to enjoy ice cream at home with our family, but almost everything went wrong. The scoops were extremely small, the “dry fruits” were just powder, and the syrup we ordered was not added at all. On top of that, the flavors we selected were not available, and we were sent different flavors without any notice or approval. When my daughter called the store to address the issue, the staff was rude and unhelpful, and at first they refused to issue a refund. We were then forced to go to the store in person, which completely ruined our family time. My child was waiting at home for ice cream, and instead our time and energy were wasted. At the store, the situation became even more uncomfortable. A man who claimed he did not work there started recording us on his phone, even after we questioned him. This made us feel harassed and unsafe. He kept interfering, defending the staff, and giving explanations about “first party” and “third party” instead of helping customers. It was very clear that he was not a normal customer, yet he continued recording and provoking the situation. After a long argument, the cashier refunded $29 out of $37, saying shipping charges would not be refunded—despite the fact that the mistakes were entirely on their end. No apology, no complimentary ice cream, no effort to calm the situation or make customers happy. The store also had very limited flavors available, which is unacceptable for a Baskin-Robbins. Also tried to get the receipt but they never provided me with one even after asking numerous times never received it on my DoorDash order. Plus I asked for one in person but they never provided because that’s how they keep you from contacting the corporate. Overall, the service was poor, the staff was rude, the environment felt uncomfortable, and our entire day was ruined. I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it to families.
