  It just sucks so bad that this McDonald’s will NOT add extra onions to their burgers. Even if you ask. I had this experience several times over a year. So when I ordered I asked the worker at the pay window to PLEASE double check and make sure they add the extra onions. She did. I got the double cheese burger got 1/2 way home and saw there were literally NO onions on it at all! NONE. I called… just to let them know because I mean come on…at this point I had done everything I could to prevent any order issues. When I called I was told some kind of weird things about them now cooking onions into the burgers. Like ok, but I ordered WITH EXTRA onions. Then she said “they just shake a few on there” ummm ok…well can they shake some EXTRA on there then when it was ordered that way? I just don’t understand the issue. I know someone else complained about this exact SAME issue on Facebook in the past. So I know I’m not the only one with this experience. So I really don’t understand what the issue is to add the extra onions. It’s like they have been instructed to ignore that request. Then just tell people you can’t do that and I would have gone across the street to Burger King!!! I’ve seen some crazy orders and extra onions seems kinda simple. And, I’m super understanding I didn’t want or expect anything for free and didn’t even want to call. But, at that point I was really curious about what is the issue is with the extra onions?! I can’t figure it out. I’m only writing this because I went to the location on S. Airport today (like a week later) ordered the EXACT same thing just to test it and the burger was JUST the way I ordered it. 0 issues putting extra onions on the cheeseburger at all! I asked that location if they cook onions in the burgers and they literally laughed at me and said no. That would be against their cooking instructions. So, It’s just weird. I don’t understand the issue chums corner has with putting extra onions on a burger. PUT THE EXTRA ONIONS ON!!! When it is ordered that way. The level of excuses and weird reasons why are just weird. I will avoid this location at all costs. No other McD’s in the dang country has an issue with putting extra onions on when it’s ordered. If this location doesn’t want to do that then just say that when it’s ordered!!! It’s really ridiculous. Like they are on a weird onion ration shortage or something. It’s literally just dehydrated onion flakes. Not an expensive item or something. 🙄

  I do not understand how they keep they’re employed working in dangerous weather reigional management here must not care at all about the safety of they’re employees at all nor they’re wellbeing staff who closed tonight were awesome and super nice including savannah the one who took my order. Just very disappointed in the way the management works here. Especially with grand traverse 911 posting about how bad the roads are and saying to stay off them is nuts. They should not be working this late into the night with a bad storm coming.

  Just headed there today for a lunch and the person on the second window was absolutely lazy and barely kind or cracked a smile forgot the no pickles and sauce for our food, when I spend 35 bucks at a corporate owned business i expect kindness regardless if you screw the order up I don't mind if you do but there was no conversation or talk, it adds to the frustration already and all the food was dry from literally sitting for hours probably, the food is awful, the service is awful and you guys are just a joke to traverse city, and I recommend Burger king because they didn't forget the sweet and sour sauce

  If you check my other reviews about McDonalds you would read how I could always count on them to be...McDonalds. I have found an exception. The staff was nice enough...if you could get them to come to the front and help you. I ALWAYS use the app so my order is all ready in, I just needed someone to acknowledge my existence. I eat in regularly, so I appreciate a CLEAN table, not one that was "wiped off." I am a McDonalds fan, and I will not let this one visit ruin my feelings, but this one store will see me no more. After all there is a Burger King across the street. And who doesn't love the Whopper?!!
