- LLLM LFeb 12, 20231.002/12/23: I placed and order for pick up: 1 pizza, 10 wings, 1 cheese bread, and a 2 liter. I was informed the order would take 50 minutes and asked if I was ok with that. I said yes, and the employee said he’d call if it would ready sooner, and I said great. There was no call, but I arrived in 40 minutes for pick up. My order was ready, I paid, and left with my order. Upon arrival home, we open the boxes: The pizza has burnt edges, looked very old, and was not hot. The cheese bread looked day old and was cold. The wings were fine. This was not the most disappointing Papa John order I’ve ever experienced at any location. This ruined our Super Bowl dinner as well and was embarrassing for a guest. Sure, it’s a busy ordering day, but if you say 50 minutes, don’t leave the order sitting on the unheated rack from the look and taste for what was likely 40 minutes. If you’re busy, you’d think the food would be delayed or at least fresh, not gross!
