You do realize that you CAN NOT refuse legal tender? This means you CAN NOT refuse cash according to our laws. Yes, places do this all the time. This doesn't change the fact that you can not refuse cash.

Their manager on 1/4/2026 from at least 3pm to whenever they get off doesn't have a clue about actually correcting an issue that THEY caused. If the employees can't follow simple directions about what goes on a 3 count them 1 2 3 topping pizza then it's a great thing that Papa Johns is back in South Haven. This pizza hut hasn't been worth the money since the 90's in truth and the quality of their product has only gone DOWN since they stopped having the lunch buffet. I'm not returning food to an establishment like you're going to throw it away, it can't be resold. You won't deliver the correct pizza. Why should I continue to put up with subpar service, subpar food, and subpar corporate practices or staff deficiency.

I ordered a taco pizza with no lettuce, and even though the receipt clearly said “no lettuce,” the pizza still came covered in it. What makes this worse is that this pizza was already being purchased with a credit from a previous order they messed up, so this is now a repeated issue. Instead of offering any additional credit or a refund, the store made me drive all the way back out to pick up the remade pizza. No apology, no compensation—nothing. It’s frustrating to have the same mistake happen twice and then be inconvenienced again. Definitely not the experience I expect when ordering from a national chain.
