- JSJames SchefflerAug 27, 20251.0I’ve always liked Subway, worked at one years ago however, I walked into this Subway in Sault Ste Marie and left extremely disappointed. I waited far too long for service with only 1 person in front of me, when we were waited on I was holding a coupon and the server explained “just so you know, we don’t take coupons anymore.” When I asked why, she said “owners rule, won’t accept them.” I said that’s ridiculous and walked out. Never have I been to a franchise restaurant that doesn’t accept coupons. Months ago at this same place I was also told they got rid of their broccoli cheese soup, but they serve it at other Subway’s. I won’t be going back to this Subway as they are not putting their customers first. Extremely disappointed. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I don't know about 2005, but you could get a footlong sub for $5 in 2014, while my 6" sub today cost $7. So it seems like subway prices have exceeded inflation. Somehow I doubt that their employees' pay has done the same.
