- LDLyndsie DavidsonJan 5, 20263.0Quiet atmosphere, our waitress was great and attentive. The drinks (margaritas) were delicious, I wish I could say that for the food. I ordered the filet mignon so I definitely at it all but it was more done well than medium as I requested. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a bag and the asparagus had zero seasoning and the tips singed, dry, and shriveled up. I also ordered mushrooms to go with my steak they came with a bunch of chopped onions and we absolutely disgusting. I'd say don't waste your time and go to Texas Roadhouse next door.

And the food was rather salty. I think it was probably the manager that was a little rude while we were waiting for our table. It seems like this place has went downhill since I haven't been there for a while and it used to be my favorite restaurant but last night on New Year's Day it wasn't very good. I don't think I'll be going back. I'll stay home and cook my own steak dinner and it'll be warm and not over seasoned and super salty like it was at Outback yesterday on the 1st of january.

We both had a trying day and Evan definitely helped improve our evening mood with his smile. Both of us had the Toowoomba filet with shrimp special. I must rave that my steak was perfectly prepared and the shrimp were tender. That had to be the best meal I've ever had at this location. The chef deserves a raise! We were pleased with our food and also tipped Evan a 40% tip for his attention to detail 😀! Thanks everyone for ending our really crappy day beautifully with your food and service!

The hostess, server Alyssa, and manager were fantastic. They set a special place at the table for my sister and even gave us a card. This was an exceptional experience.
