The manager had refunded her the money (when I started listening I assumed it was a large party order the way she way rambling on about being compensated for her ‘inconvenience’. It was ten lousy dollars.) and offered her a complimentary sweet- likely all that was in her power to give. The woman insisted she would get a gift card. I was half tempted to give the woman another ten dollars just to make her leave this young lady in peace. I was impressed at the team’s handling of this clearly disturbed woman who was truly embarrassing herself. Her time could not have been terribly valuable as she was spending 20 minutes holding up a line just to hear her own self righteous voice talk. They were gracious, courteous and did all in their power to amend the situation. Please do not be this person. If you are looking to turn ten dollars into 20, go play the stock market. Don’t bully staff.
