  I’m such a huge pizza Stan, so I was super excited to try their new pan pizza that’s been advertised everywhere. There’s no papa John’s near me, so I drove 25 mins to grab this with an online order. I was excited until I got home and opened the box.. This pizza was the saddest looking pizza I’ve ever seen. Toppings didn’t even stay on top of the dough. Caked on cheese on top of the cheese bread. Doesn’t look ANYTHING even REMOTELY like the advertisement. On top of that, I’m a big sauce guy. I ordered 3 pizza sauces on the side and I only got 2. Mind you, these sauce cups are not even an ounce of sauce. I got through no joke 2 breadsticks with the amount of sauce given and these small cups were only a quarter full. Unreal. A total ripoff and a complete waste of my time and money. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Only thing that was positive was that they had my order ready promptly. Other than that, I would save your money and time and not ever get this particular papa John’s. Absolute garbage.

  We ordered 1 custom pizza and 1 specialty bbq/chicken pizza with 2 apps and it was probably the worst pizza I have had in 6 or 7 years. Well done, light sauce and cheese was barely melted. Wings look like the baby chics wings from TSC. Crust is very doughy with too much flour and not enough flavor. Had PJ’s 3 weeks ago(same order so, apples to apples)in San Francisco and it was damn good pizza. I liked the dude inside(1 or 2 man gig)and service was fine except for messing up the requests on our custom pizza. I will not eat here again.

  The pizza was amazing, so great, hot and fresh. I wish others could try it as well. Make sure to tip them for their awe-some! Work!

  If you ever wondered what “half-baked” really means — come here! Papa John’s on Rochester Road has truly mastered the art of disappointment. I’ve ordered twice, and both times they’ve proudly served me pizzas that look like they just remembered the oven exists halfway through baking. And if you think ordering a half-and-half pizza means you’ll get a fair split — think again! Apparently, their definition of “half” is 80% plain cheese and 20% toppings crammed into one corner. I guess math and cooking are both optional here. If you enjoy playing “find the toppings” or love that gooey, raw dough experience, this is your spot. Otherwise, save yourself the frustration (and your appetite) and go literally anywhere else.
