Called them, they told me that my order had been canceled by the store. 👍 Thanks for finding it while we were on the phone and canceling it bud.
- DCDana CarpenterFeb 16, 20261.0I've ordered here twice. The first time a couple months ago was... okay. Pizza was alright but wings were not great. The 2nd time was last night. I placed my order on Uber Eats, gave it 10 minutes, headed to the store. When I got there I was told my order was "canceled" due to them being out of gluten free crust. However, the order was still showing "in progress" on Uber Eats. I asked if they were going to cancel the Uber Eats order so I could get my money back. They told me I would have to reach out to Uber to cancel the order myself. I said "I don't think that's how that works" and they responded "that's exactly how that works". So I got to waste another 10 minutes of my time dealing with Uber customer service. I understand sometimes restaurants run out of things... but it would have saved me a lot of time if they had just canceled my order and I would have known I needed to go somewhere else to get food. Unfortunately, they would prefer to underperform and have a bad attitude about it instead of earning a loyal customer. Fortunately, Cottage Inn Pizza should be open again soon.
