  On the morning of April 3rd, 2026 at approximately 11:00 AM, my boyfriend and I visited your McDonald’s location at 57065 Gratiot in New Haven, Michigan. This is a location we frequent regularly and have always considered one of the better-run stores in our area. After going through the drive-thru and returning home, my boyfriend unwrapped his McGriddle sandwich and discovered that it had clearly already been bitten into. An employee had taken a bite out of the sandwich, rewrapped it, and served it to us. This is not just unacceptable, it is a serious violation of basic food safety and sanitation standards. I have worked in the food service industry for over 15 years, and this level of negligence is shocking and inexcusable. I am genuinely disgusted by this experience. The thought that food was handled in this manner and still given to a customer is deeply disturbing. This situation poses a legitimate health risk and should never happen under any circumstances. When we returned to the store, we were offered a replacement sandwich, but by that point our appetite was completely gone. We were not offered a refund, which is unacceptable given the severity of the issue. Additionally, the morning manager did not come out to speak with us, offer an apology, or attempt to resolve the situation. The lack of accountability and urgency from management is extremely concerning. I expect that the kitchen camera footage for this timeframe is reviewed to identify exactly how this occurred and who was responsible. Appropriate disciplinary action should be taken, as this type of behavior cannot be tolerated in any food service environment. Furthermore, there appears to be a failure in quality control. Whoever is responsible for expediting and bagging orders should be verifying that all food items are properly prepared and safe before they are handed to customers. This situation should have been caught and prevented before it ever left the kitchen. This incident raises serious concerns about food handling practices at this location. I expect this matter to be investigated thoroughly and addressed immediately. If necessary, I am fully prepared to escalate this issue to the local health department, as this is a clear breach of food safety regulations. I would like to be contacted as soon as possible regarding how this situation will be handled. As a long-time customer, this experience has significantly impacted my trust in your brand.

  It's a McDonald's, but it's the employees that make it a great McDonald's! Keep up the amazing work! It makes a difference, especially the food, you can tell they care about the product and not just serving trash food. Which happens to quite a few fast food places. Keeping everyone happy is key! As far as I have been coming here, I have always had a good experience with great food and amazing people!

  Had the worst breakfast sandwich ever at this location. It was incredibly stale and hard, completely inedible. Would have went back if I had time.
