  I am actually let down by the food, while the staff and atmosphere are fine the food just was not up to par with the way I figured based on the length of time the business has been in our community. The beef was all around fine nothing to write home about but by no means bad. Definitely the best thing I've tried at their establishment. The biggest let down was the pork. It was the most bland, and diluted taste of meat I have ever seen in my life. A total dripping mess but not with fat or flavor, which boggled my mind. I can only imagine they slow cooked it in water alone and that was it to achieve such a level of diminished flavor. Pork is incredibly hard to mess up too do to the fatty and salty nature of pork alone has great flavor to start. Do not spend your money on the pork if you do that you will be alright here. Really expected great things instead just very mid.

  Our food was amazing, and the service was prompt and always courteous. The BEST place for Mexican food in and around Monroe!

  I had a lovely experience celebrating my accomplishments at Almyra’s Mexican Grill. The food was excellent, and our server provided outstanding customer service—attentive, friendly, and professional. The quality of the food and service truly made the celebration special. The only recommendation I would make is to consider spacing tables a bit farther apart for added privacy. Unfortunately, guests at a nearby table made comments about my 14‑year‑old daughter’s attire, saying things like “oh, that must be an emo grudge thing,” which made her very uncomfortable. I found this behavior inappropriate and discouraging, and greater table spacing could help prevent situations like this. That said, overall the service and dining experience were excellent, and I would still recommend Almyra’s for the food and hospitality.
