- JAJosh ArmstrongApr 27, 20261.0Had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. The staff repeatedly pushed my children to say “please” and “thank you” in a way that felt more like pressure than basic courtesy. It’s not appropriate for employees to correct or discipline someone else’s kids, especially while we’re simply ordering food. More concerning, I was “given” cookies at checkout and later noticed I was charged a tip that cost more than the cookies themselves. At no point was this explained or presented as optional. That kind of add‑on without clear consent feels misleading and not in line with good business practices. We will not be returning to this place. I hope management addresses this, because transparency and respectful service matter.

Great service and prices and sandwiches are loaded. Decatur Michigan where we live has subway but nothing like Mattawan subs! Highly recommend it!!! Thank you.
