  We are so happy we found this shop! The bagels are awesome (soft & flavorful, and delicious cream cheese!) and we really love supporting family businesses. The staff was super nice and after we ate breakfast there, we got more bagels, some cookies, and cream cheese.

  I am truly wowd by this place bagles were amazing owners and employees just so friendly smiling and nice!! I will always drive an hour plus to come here!! If you dont come here im sorry your missing out BEST PLACE EVER!!!!

  Absolutely love this family-owned bagel shop! You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. The bagels are always fresh, perfectly chewy on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside—and the variety is fantastic. On top of that, the service is warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You really feel like a valued customer, not just another order. This is the kind of local spot that keeps you coming back again and again. Highly recommend supporting this gem! 🥯

  I have never felt more welcome and appreciated as a customer! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and sincerely happy to provide answers to questions / recommendations. This is not close to me, but they have turned me into a regular, recurring customer based on service alone. That said, the bagels are AMAZING. I have been on the hunt for a good bagel shop and can’t wait to go back. Thank you for making it such a pleasant experience for me!!

  I love bagels. Always have, always will. And when I say it’s hard to come by a truly good bagel these days, I mean it. Detroit Bagel does make great bagels and cream cheese, and I often stop in before work to grab breakfast. Unfortunately, the biggest issue with this place is the staff. They are consistently beyond rude. I’ve noticed that regulars are treated warmly and pleasantly, but if you’re not one of them—or not somehow in their good graces—you’re treated poorly. No courtesy, no “thank you,” no “have a nice day.” Nothing.
