  Overshadowed by its illustrious game room, Dave & Buster’s (DB) offers a robust menu of American fare, filled with mostly caloric but savory dishes. I was traveling on business in Detroit and DB was within walking distance. Truth be told I have my own DB card at home and visit frequently, though not typically to eat. I did not want to eat anything caloric and I had checked out the menu ahead of time to see if I could find dishes that would keep my calorie count lean ahead of Thanksgiving. I found a few including a nicely grilled salmon, shown in my photos. Pretzels are shown at 1400 cal, but that’s if you eat all of them — there were five — and ate all of the accompanying dips. So I pretended I was sharing and ate less. Delicious. The bananas foster is served in DBs unique way, with crystallized sugar granules, a caramel sauce, and thin sliced bananas. The cake reminds me of an Italian cheesecake, which is made with ricotta. Also delicious. Thank you to Shannon for excellent service, too. So for fun atmosphere, and surprisingly great even if rich food, head on over to Dave & Busters in Livonia Detroit!

  Place is a freaking rip off with horrible service. I don’t think they understand customer service yet want to charge top dollar for everything. Ordered a shot of tequila, tipped 50$ to ensure good service and still got treated like shit. Staff is horrible and the food is mediocre at best. Spend your money somewhere else

  no human help, unable to buy tokens with cash. restaurant was mostly empty but waitstaff overwhelmed. no playground for kids.

  Arcade was totally fine, but that was the worst dining experience my friends and I have ever had. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday and we waited 30 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour before we saw food. When we did, orders were incomplete. Ordered items weren’t brought, server Sabrina barely checked us, didn’t say a word out of taking our orders. Tables next to us were seated, served, and checked out before we got food. Yes we had a party of 7, but we were 1 of 3 parties there. Had to ask 2 other employees just to get water. Hate leaving bad reviews but this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had

  I took my teen here for a party for a friend. I wasn’t expecting much in that my family and I were at a D&B in another state and it was okay, nothing to brag about. This location is one county over from mine and I didn’t want to spend more gas than I needed so I decided to stay in another area and label my professional colored pencils while my teen was with his friends and I am glad that I did so. This location was far better than the one my family and I went to one state over during a vacation. The service at this location was phenomenal. The food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. My server was JD, who is amazing. Such a kind, attentive and professional person. Actually, all of the staff was great and it had nothing to do with the party my teen attended. A couple of servers (Amber and Amber) kindly asked me about the colored pencils and we had a great conversation. They were still attentive to their customers in doing so. I will absolutely bring my family here. It was very pleasant and relaxing even with all the televisions on. 🤗
