  We were one of the first customers in the door and Carie hooked us up. Been a number of decades since we had been. She walked us through the process of getting cards and then with the Eat and Play combo. Carie will take care of you, make sure to ask for her. My kids had the smash burger and wings. Both enjoyed. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, very delish.

  Took the kids to have an arcade style day like the wife and I used to do. Sadly some games were down that had no indication of being down or broken and when we mentioned it to the staff they pretended like we didn't. Ill give this place another go but in the future I'll be sticking to zapzone

  Came here with some friends. Service was pretty slow. We waited about 20 minutes for drinks, close to an hour for food. I ordered a bacon burger. The bacon tasted really bland and dry. Burger didn't taste much better. At $44 I would expect things to taste way better. After all that waiting it basically killed the vibe for any of the games.

  We came tonight for fun, but my 14 year old daughter left with a contusion on her knee when a fight broke out next to us. She was shoved to the ground by the men fighting and hit her knee. Thankful she got back up in time that they could not trample her, too. We had to run to the bar to find help. What did Dave and Busters do for her? Offered her an ice pack and said they can't control people. Thanks for the forever memories for my kiddo.

  I recently visited the Dave & Buster’s in Livonia with my family and unfortunately the experience was very mixed. We purchased three of the $59.99 Eat and Play combos for the kids, and I do want to give credit where it’s due. We ended up losing one of the game cards and the manager was extremely accommodating in making sure the free meal was still honored. That level of understanding and customer care was truly appreciated. However, the rest of the visit did not match that same standard. I went to the bar to grab a drink and watch the football game and sat there for quite a while without being greeted, even though the bartender clearly saw me. The bar itself wasn’t busy, yet the environment felt rushed and unwelcoming. When I was finally acknowledged and received my drink, the overall energy was tense and uncomfortable. The bartender I interacted with, Dana, came off very cold. Later, I spoke with a friend who had been there the day before and they mentioned having a similar negative customer service experience with her as well. When we sat down to eat as a family, the attitude continued. Our waitress was noticeably hostile. She slammed my drink on the table and did the same with my cousin’s food. It made what should have been a fun family outing feel awkward and unpleasant. The food itself was just okay. I ordered the sampler with sliders, wings, and fries. I tried asking about the spicy Korean wing flavor and the waitress seemed completely uninterested, simply saying she only eats buffalo wings. There was no effort to be helpful or welcoming. I had been told this location was better than the Utica one, but based on this visit, I wasn’t impressed. It’s disappointing, especially since I was hosting family from out of town and hoped for a fun, upbeat environment. The manager’s assistance was the highlight, but the overall staff attitude made the experience one I’m not excited to repeat.
