Tried Grains for the first time on a Friday date night out. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu. Wait staff were very helpful in offering recommendations. Food was amazing! The interior has been completely transformed to feel like an upscale restaurant. Will be making Grains a regular in my restaurant visiting rotation!

My husband stopped in for pickup, so I'm not sure about service or atmosphere, but the food was great. I had the paneer makhani, and this was the first time since we lived overseas where I loved it. My favorite Indian restaurant was there, but now I hope to have found a new favorite. Very satisfied with our food. The mango lasso was great, too!

My husband and I ate at Grains a few weeks ago for the first time and had a very good experience. The decor is upscale/modern but with a casual feel. Service was good, water glass filled continually, staff was cheerful, and the food delicious. I love that there is a lunch menu that includes soup/salad, bread, rice, etc. so its a meal without having to order each item separately. Last week my husband was planning to take me to Grains for my birthday. He snuck over there early with flowers and a card; when we walked in the manager queued up Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" and I was directed to a table waiting for us. It was really sweet and made my birthday so special. :) Thank you, Grains! We wish you the best in your new location (already love Pind in Grand Rapids!) and plan to eat here regularly.

This place has a great lunch menu, but not so great dinner menu. Didn't like dinner as much but lunch menu items were one of the best vegetarian curries I tasted in a restraunt in a long while. Aloo Gobi and mushroom broccoli were so good, would come again for lunch.

We came on Christmas night, which is an odd time to visit. They were very busy. It was slow but I'm patient and understanding of holiday restaurant etiquette. That being said, once our food arrived, I was blissfully met with wonderful aromas and flavors of my dish. I had something made with lamb that was delightful. I also ordered the meal spice level as hot. It definitely made me sweat but it was delicious. Be cautious if you cannot handle your spice. I had to towel off my head mid meal as I am bald and the sweat was starting to run down my head. Do check them out during their normal business hours. I look forward to trying more of their dishes in the future. Sadly, I was too hungry and under the spell of the smell of food around me to take a photo. I will have to take a photo the next time I show up.
