This location used to be really good, but over the last few months it has completely gone downhill. The last time we went we were taken back by the way the staff treated us (not following what we asked for, ignoring our requests, and being rude during check out). The staff do not clean, there was trash everywhere, uneaten food on tables, etc. Upon eating our food, my husband's chicken was cold all the way through. He picked around it, but both me and I husband got sick off the food anyway. The way the staff are preparing the food is clearly not following food safety guidelines and based on the "don't care" attitude of the staff I am not surprised. We have been trying to give it a chance the last few times we have gone there, but this last experience was awful and we will not be returning.
Ya know… I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but what happened to me today kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. I went in for lunch around 1:20 and politely waited for them to catch up on orders before helping me. That part wasn’t the issue at all — it was busy after lunch, so I totally get it.
The problem was when it was finally my turn to order. I asked for white rice, and it looked like the tray was pretty empty. The woman helping me (not the person I had the issue with) noticed too and turned around to ask the line chef if they had any more white rice. He shrugged his shoulders, looked directly at me, and said, “If you want white rice you can just go to the Panda Express next door.”
I just sat there in shock that the person who’s supposed to be serving me was basically telling me to go somewhere else. It honestly made me feel bad for even grabbing food on my lunch break, like I was being turned away instead of helped.
The manager did address it in real time, but I couldn’t shake how rude and uncalled for the comment was. It genuinely made me uncomfortable.
I would literally give zero stars if I could, but I had to select one. Every time I come here, there is an issue today I purchased Tea online. They didn’t have any. I asked for a refund and they told me to go online to get my refund. I often order here and I’m just fed up with having an issue every time and then on top of it. The staff seems to not even care which is fine, but I literally will not be back. I will be going to the one in Kentwood. Their staff is much friendlier and cleaner.

Arrived at this Chipotle at 12:15 on November 10 with a long line. There was only one server. The line went very slowly. After 15 minutes there was an announcement they were out of chicken and some other meat for the next 30 minutes. When we finally got to the front after waiting in line 30 minutes, they were out of 2 meats, brown rice, almost out of white rice, out of black beans, and we took the last grilled vegetables. When we sat to eat, there was another announcement of what they were out of, saying it would be 30 minutes, so it seems nothing had been fixed in the past 15 minutes. For the 15 minutes we were there, we saw at least 20-25 leave as half the food was gone. A lot of lost business. I generally like Chipotle food, it’s fresh and tasty. I will try again, but if I see a line and one server, I am out of there.

This is the worst chipotle ive ever been to. Ill set the scene: you walk in and the first thing that hits you is the loud inappropriate rap music blaring through the speakers. Trash and old food lines all available surfaces. The trash cans overflow while forks knives and napkins remain unstocked. You walk into the line, literally kicking trash from the floor and you face the cold stare of a worker. The music is so loud you. Cannot hear them. They are frustrated at you for that. You smile and hope they will smile back, but they loudly shout BOWL OR BURRITO?! You shape up, knowing they are already frustrated, understaffed and probably underpaid. You point to your selections, the music gets louder. They are out of almost everything, you order a flimsy bowl with what they have. You get to the checkout, no greeting, just waiting for payment. You ask for chips, but this might be too much. They say they are all out. Bags of chips line the walls. You pay, take your food. You take your food home and bite into nice hard rice, lucky for you everything is ice cold and the meat is so cooked its like a beef jerky bowl! You tell customer service qbout your experience and ended up talking with AI who awards you one free drink. Hallelujah.
