When I got there at about 8:50 pm, the open sign was on, the hours on the door said 9:30 pm and the door was unlocked. But the employee said they were closed and closed at 9 pm. She rolled her eyes, turned her back, and walked away when I said it wasn't 9 pm yet, that the open sign was still on, and - obviously - the door was unlocked. If you plan to change your hours, correct the sign on the door. If you plan to close early, turn off the open sign and lock the door. Those are simple steps to keep customers returning by knowing when you're open and to avoid interacting with a tired, sarcastic, and rude employee.
