He called me up to tell me about it and I told him that I had conveniently just received a sheet of Subway coupons in the mail. We went to this location and got two footlong subs without issue. Service was fast and the food was good. Today we decided to go back to use up the remainder of the gift card and use another one of the coupons. When we got to the checkout stage of the transaction, we were informed that this location does not accept that kind of coupon. We were then put in an awkward situation as the sandwiches were already made and other people were waiting in line. We reluctantly paid full price, and when my friend went to pay with his gift card for his half of the meal, the amount of the transaction it covered revealed that my coupon on the trip before had not even been applied.
