Tried the new five guys for my birthday. And compared to Annarbor , it was a little lacks. The lettuce was slimy and the fries were soggy and floppy. Good flavor though....

I tried Five Guys tonight 2/17 at around 7PM, I was watching the guy cooking the hamburgers, and he wiping his nose with his food service glove, this was very gross. I also notice the guy on the fry station doing the same, the young girl taking our order was very friendly very pleasant. The Hamburger was good but the fries were very soggy and greasy did not care for them. The order took around 25 minutes to get, and people that came in after me got there orders before we did, which was a cheeseburger a hot dog and a small fry? Honest review the wiping there nose with there gloves really needs to be addressed, or I will not go back.

They messed up my veggie with cheese sandwich 2 days in a row and then the manager Nathan or Mathew tried to tell me he made the sandwich as it was listed on the sandwich; I assure you he did not. He didn’t seem to understand that you can customize the orders online and deselect things like mushrooms and he would need to talk to his regional manager for clarification…just terrible training and service….stay away!

I was excited to try the new Five Guys in Jackson, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I asked if my fries could be made well-done because I prefer them crispier, and the trainer refused and told me they wanted me to try them “the Five Guys way,” which felt dismissive.
When I got my food, the burger was assembled poorly. The bottom bun was completely soaked with sauce, the toppings were uneven, and the burger fell apart. I wasn’t even able to finish it.
For a brand new location, I expected better attention to quality and customer experience. I’m hoping this improves with time because Five Guys is usually known for consistency.

Accidentally placed an online order with the Jackson Rd location in Ann Arbor and they still offered to make my food for free despite being so crazily busy on their first day open! Please be kind to these people (especially during their first week of being open) and I promise you they'll treat you so well!
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.

How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
