We just visited this location today (9/14/25) around 11:20 am. We ordered a cone and a blizzard. They handed my husband his cone as I was paying and the employee swiped my card, then took a few moments to inform us that their card reader is down and proceeded to aplologize and then just stare at us. After a few seconds of awkward silence she asked if we had cash. I informed her I had 3 dollars. She stared at my husband like she was going to take his half-eaten cone back for a few moments before I told her I could pay for the cone in cash. At this point, the employee behind her had finished making my blizzard. I handed her the $3 and she just held the cash and looked at me. I asked if the cone was more than $3 and she said "yeah, it's $3.49". I handed her 2 quarters and she quickly said thank you, closed the window, and didn't give me my change. I know it's only a penny, but after this interaction, I didn't want to also feel like I overpaid for a cone. The whole experience was strange and unprofessional. Not to mention wasteful as I'm sure that my already made blizzard just went in the garbage. Very frustrating experience.
