Another thing that is amazing about Alma Kitchen is that even with prices soaring on ingredients, they are still a very affordable place to dine out and celebrate milestones.

The chicken sandwich was good however the fries and saucy potions were very small. Here is the reason why I probably won’t be back; A 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill with the explanation that the owner wants to make sure his staff is paid fairly. In my opinion, that’s the owner’s responsibility. If I’m required to pay a 20% gratuity here are my expectations; Not to have a food delay, not to signal to my waiter, who was doing double duty as a cashier, for more water; which I never received. Lastly, since our server was doing the job of two people, he should have been wearing gloves when handling our food, plates and money. It had been a while since I have visited the restaurant and will be a longer time before I return. I understand the notion of tipping but I don’t appreciate someone managing my money.
