I’ve come to this Carrabba’s a few times
Today, the kitchen pace completely KILLED the service. Everything was extremely slow & there was maybe 8 tables on a Sunday @4pm. The waitress came to ask us if we wanted boxes & we hadn’t even gotten our entrees. It was sad. It took us 60 mins to complete an entire service & we had 4 people (2 adults & 2 kids)… without the restaurant being the slightest bit busy. I can’t even imagine if it was busy

A small Italian spot that I always seem to forget is tucked in across from Meijer. But every time I visit I’m reminded of how pleasant a restaurant it is to eat at. All the servers and staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Patty in particular stood out as a fantastic server who really made our evening special. The food is always great and being able to see the open kitchen is something unique in the area. I always remember coming here on occasion as a child and being given a little dough ball that I could shape before the kitchen baked the creation in back: a happy memory that will always make me smile.
The food is always delicious at Carrabba's. Chicken Bryan is a favorite with so many flavors that burst in your mouth! We've dined here several times before and have never had a bad meal here. That said, the ambiance was better in past visits than our experience tonight. With it being Valentine's Day on a Saturday, they were understandably packed. Unfortunately, I think the manager didn't help set the mood ahead of time because the music was blaring too loud which made the noise level in the restaurant higher. (I could not hear my significant other across the dinner table). Also, the lights could have been a little dimmer to also help set the mood. So, it was a bit disappointing of an atmosphere for what was supposed to be a romantic dinner at an Italian restaurant. These are easy fixes, though. I hope they will consider this post and make amendments for future romantic dinner scenarios. Softer piano music or something could go a long way than loud songs with horns blaring.
Took my partner here for Valentine's Day and was NOT disappointed whatsoever! Our server was named Jo Jo and was seriously top-notch. He let us know about deals, was relaxed in conversation, yet also extremely professional. Honestly given how many customers he expertly juggled with the rush of today's holiday, I sincerely hope he gets a raise.
The food was top quality, from the broccoli & chicken cooked to perfection, to my partner's chicken pasta which was filling, I enjoyed every morsel of food. Even the bread was exceptional!
And to make it better, they had a wonderful Valentine's Day special for a 4 course meal for 2 for 65 bucks with their additional take-home for $10 opportunity. Such a great value that I was flabbergasted, and partner and I have food for several days.
Overall I would highly recommend Carabbas with the only downside being how busy it can get. I consider this a sign that they're doing something right.

We've been going to Carrabba's as long as they've been in Grand Rapids/Grandville area. I my self get the same dish 98% of the time. Fettuccine Weesie aka Pasta Weesie.
When done correctly it's absolutely dreamy. When it's extra good, I close my eyes when I take my bites.. lol Yes, it's that good!
After a long week that's what I was craving. Money is tight but it is what it is. I'll splurge tonight. I shouldn't have.
I'm sorry to tell you that 1 of your cooks 1. Hates their job 2. Can not cook. 3. Puts 0 effort into take out food. My shrimps were inedible. Looked and tasted boiled & rubbery. My alfredo "sauce" so watered down it tasted like and warm milk and butter. Soup was bland Take-out forgot silverware, bread, oil, spices. Just all bad.
That night, I ate a side salad.
I 100% know you can do better. Do better.
I submitted some feedback, received a text that it would be shared w management. No call. I texted back to please call me and gave my number. Still no call.
