I want to share about Leia, Grandville Carrabbas proprietor. Not only is she an incredible boss, she is an even better person. My cars heating was out. She had a staff member run out to get me to make sure I didn't leave. She brought me her own heated blanket; she uses for her own vehicle and said take this. I was in tears, as this kind gesture; saved me from freezing on my ride home. This was one of the coldest nights of the year. Five Stars for Leia!

I was not impressed with our recent visit. I am a server and used to work for Carrabba's, and the quality of service is not what it used to be. Our server (Emi Z) gave us very slow service when it was not busy. I am a very understanding person because I know the industry. We waited forever to get boxes, to be cashed out, and she didn't clear any of the plates from our table. All of our food was cold (except my soup). I always way over tip, but it definitely did not happen this time. What happened to the professionalism and quality at Carrabba's?

Tonight’s dinner was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was phenomenal, and it was clear how much care and skill the cooks put into every detail. After our last visit, where the food wasn’t quite on par, we were hopeful—and they completely redeemed themselves and then some.
I had the Tuscan pork chops, and they were unreal—so tender they practically melted like butter. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
What truly made the night exceptional, though, was our server, Sandy. She went above and beyond in every way—attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. Her service elevated an already fantastic meal into a memorable night.
This visit reminded us why we love coming here, and we’ll absolutely be back. Kudos to the kitchen and a huge thank-you to Sandy for making our evening so special.

My wife and I went here at 5:30 on 12/24/2025 expecting it to be crowded but were surprised to be seated immediately. We thought we were lucky. It was all downhill from there. The table wasn't set; there were no utensils or napkins; No olive oil; and no plates. We sat waiting for a while and then a waitress shows up took our drink orders and disappeared. They were not busy at all; maybe half full. When she came back, we had to ask for utensils, oil, napkins and water. She returned without the water; took our order and returned to her friends to chat. When the soup came it was barely warm; we waited until she returned and told her about the soup; she took the soup and returned to her friends. she drew more soup, and it was barely warmer. The wine was simply a house chianti @ $18.00 for 9 Oz brought with a piece of hard cheese rind: a 1/2 in. square of herbed bread; a very small piece of dried out Prosciutto; and 1/2 tsp. fig jelly. The appetizer was the Classic Combination consisting of 3 Mozzarella sticks, Bruschette Caprese: Hand-breaded Calamari that was so overcooked it looked and tasted like a spicy mound of burnt breadcrumbs. The Linguine Positano noodles were under cooked NOT Aldente. And then on the printed bill they had the audacity to recommend a min. 18% tip. I do NOT and will NOT recommend this restaurant and won't be returning. The Olive Garden is right down the street.

What happened at Carrabba’s on December 13 was completely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. My daughter’s Sweet 16 a milestone moment she had been looking forward to for over a month was ruined due to grossly poor service, disrespect, and what felt like clear discriminatory treatment.
I called on December 5 to secure ahead seating for 12 people at 6:30 PM. We arrived at 6:25 PM and, before being seated, I asked if a few additional guests could be accommodated. I was told yes, it would not be a problem and that there was more than enough room. We were seated around 6:40 PM, and all guests were present and seated by 6:50 PM.
Despite this, we waited over 20 minutes just for a server to acknowledge us. When my mother asked for the adult drink menu, the server placed it on the table, then walked away with an obvious attitude before she could even ask a question. Another 15 20 minutes passed before the server returned. Her demeanor toward our table was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional something our entire party noticed.
I overheard the server complaining that the table was “only supposed to be 12 people and now it’s 16.” I calmly explained that I asked before being seated if this would be an issue and was told it would not. I also stated that if it had been a problem, we were fully prepared to leave and go elsewhere. Instead of addressing the situation appropriately, the server snapped, walked off, and never returned. Our drink orders were never entered.
Another server eventually came to take the same drink orders again. By this point, it was around 8:00 PM, the restaurant had mostly emptied, and our party still had not received food. Some guests had not even had the opportunity to order. We had no idea who our actual server was.
What made this experience impossible to ignore was the blatant contrast in treatment. A white family seated near us around the same time received prompt service, drinks, food, and even had “Happy Birthday” sung to them while we sat there confused, ignored, and disrespected during my daughter’s birthday celebration. At that time, we were the only African American family in the restaurant.
At 8:30 PM, I spoke with the manager. Instead of listening, she talked over both me and my fiancé, dismissed what we were saying, and falsely claimed we had only been seated since 7:20 PM. Her defensive tone made it clear she had already chosen a side rather than attempting to understand the truth. No accountability. No empathy. No effort to fix the situation.
This was not just poor service it was humiliating. The lack of professionalism, the dismissive management, and the unequal treatment turned what should have been a joyful memory into a painful one for my child.
I am especially disappointed because my fiancé and I have dined at Carrabba’s many times and genuinely enjoy the food. However, the experience my family endured that night was inexcusable. No family especially during a child’s milestone celebration—should ever be treated this way.
Carrabba’s needs to seriously address how this location treats guests, how staff handle large parties, and how management responds when concerns are raised. What happened on December 13 should never happen again.
