Left before getting food (raw meat you cook yourself). Arrived and was seated normally. Plates were greasy and covered in sauce and all over the place was grimy (someone’s ear gauge was sitting on the window sill). We were then handed off between servers. Waited 15 minutes for drinks, sure that’s fine, but what we left for was waiting another 15-20 for the raw meat to cook ourselves. Maybe 7 tables in the whole place, not busy on a Saturday night. We usually love this place and use it as a treat for our family and occasional date nights. Buffet was scarce and not stocked and the pickings that were left were cold, hard, stale and inedible. Waiter quickly dropped a lemonade and ran away before we could order from the drink menu and disappeared for a while. Finally, we were able to order meat, we were sure it was going to be easy going from there as the meats did not need to be cooked, we had prepared as a table what meats we were picking next. We left after offering to pay for the waters, kids lemonade, stale buffet pickings and the little rice we received. The bar tender asked if it was the wait and honestly I said yes as I’m not one to lie. Waiter screamed out of the side door he had our food as we were walking down the stairs but at that point we had zero interest in returning to only be what I assume would be further disappointment. After a little over 30 minutes of sad stale buffet pickings, a little bit of rice, missing waiters and no other food we left and went across the street for dinner. Also if you have to smell a food preparation bucket, it’s probably not clean.
This was our group's first experience at K-ROK, and unfortunately, it will be my last! What I ate was delicious, and the karaoke system worked beautifully! The issue was the service. We reserved a karaoke room for 12 people - the stated capacity of the rental - and had to request another chair for the small space because there was not seating enough for all of us. Based on our size, we were conscious to be as respectful to and as patient as possible with the waitstaff; unfortunately, just being there seemed to have been an unforgivable annoyance for who turned out to be our server (there was confusion in the beginning with another server who made it seem like we would be ordering/paying in one way when in actuality we could not). Not only did she raise her voice with us, but she was also making sardonic comments about the nature of her job as she took our order. Our bill was shocking to say the least (my jaw literally dropped), and we were not informed that gratuity was already added. Upon discovery, we asked for the receipts back to alter our tip percentages and our server literally rolled her eyes. If you really dislike your job that much, I encourage you to seek alternative employment, girl!

Some of the best Korean bbq in gr! Absolutely 0 wait on a Sunday night, flavors were SPECTACULAR, and for a spice lover the levels were perfect! An adorable asian woman came through and interacted with each table making them feel valued for coming in, its the small touches that make a place memorable! Cocktails were tasty and service was attentive from all staff members- even the guy carting out our orders helped trouble shoot our grill. I just wish a couple more menu items would have been available but its understandable since they dont get ANYWHERE NEAR ENOUGH PATRONAGE!!!! Take this as your sign to go and try them ASAP!! WE NEED TO KEEP THEM HERE IN DOWNTOWN GR!
Great food, great people, now go in & have a great time!

HORRENDOUS SERVICE! We spent 3 hours here for dinner. We came and put our name in and there was no one waiting. Two other couples came in after us and then got our tables and they apologized that they “somehow skipped us”. We said ok. Then we sat for 20 minutes before being given menus or drinks. Had to wave the servers down everytime we needed something including the menu. No refills on our drinks. Grills were changed infrequently and only when we waved them down so it was very smokey. People kept walking out and leaving their tables due to the service but they didn’t seem to care. When we asked for more meat the server was very rude and said “more meat, are you serious?” when we are paying for all you can eat. Very rude and unprofessional. There was only like 3 servers for the whole establishment on a Saturday night yet they kept seating people and not serving them. The buffet was empty, no fried rice and we kept coming back to check and it wasn’t refilled. We complained about the rudeness and did so politely and were still charged full price for everything. I never complain when I go out to eat, I try to be very patient and understanding. I even felt bad at first but the complete rudeness and negligence for $150 is insane and very disappointing, which really sucks because the food tasted good.
I really wanted to like this place, but the service was just really rough. 30 minutes to get menus. 15 more to order drinks. 15 more to ask for drinks again, and receive another 10 later. Only half our first order of meat showed up and it took another 20 for the other 2 dishes. We couldn't have ordered another round of food even if we wanted to because it took the full 90 minute all you can eat time to get one round of 4 dishes and 2 drinks. The buffet was missing half of the cold or appetizer dishes on the menu and was never stocked.
Also, a surprise 18% autogratuity on a table of 2. We spent 80$ for 30 worth of food
