Deeply befuddled by my experience. I ordered the Italian sandwich with bacon on it. I was particularly trying to avoid a toasted sandwich. I don’t care for them. I didn’t see any part in the ordering process that I was going to get a toasted sandwich. I am lactose intolerant and I enjoy veggies so I loaded up my sandwich with extra veggies. Because of the toasting process and the lack of cheese, my sandwich was a big wet wilted mess. I came back to the store, because I didn’t intend on ordering this, and asked if I could get my sandwich untoasted. The gentleman behind the counter told me that they only come toasted, and that he couldn’t make me anything else. I said, well, how about a refund seeing as I didn’t intend to order a big hot wet sandwich? And the gentleman told me that he didn’t have managerial clearance to do that either. I left without a sandwich or funds returned. It takes less effort to not toast it than toast it?
