"Oh, they need fries, so I'll put the fries in the fryer then stand there while they cook. And go make shakes because I have to do shakes too." "Oh, this next bag needs fries, I'll put them in the fryer and stand there while they cook." This goes on and numbers are called in a random order. People way after you get their order before you. They need to fix their process. Also, fries were burned.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
