I contacted the store and was offered a remake. I returned on January 11 for the remake. While eating my burger, I found a strand of orange hair in the food. I returned to the store so staff could see it firsthand. When I asked for a refund instead of another remake, the staff member I spoke with was unprofessional, dismissive, and refused to give her name. I also noticed employees were not wearing visible hairnets, which raised further concerns about food safety. Between the raw food, hair contamination, and poor handling of the situation, this was an unacceptable experience. I hope management addresses these issues, as food safety and customer care should be taken seriously.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
