  Great experience every time I come in. Always friendly and fast! It is like my neighborhood “coffee shop”! I come every morning before work. No matter how full or busy there are, they take their time and are always smiling!

  i stopped by Tropical Smoothie and Jay and Harley did not disappoint. The smoothies were super fresh and actually tasted like real fruit, not artificial. Service was quick, and the vibe was chill—perfect for a quick hangout or grab-and-go. Definitely a spot we’d come back to.

  Had a great experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe! The smoothies were fresh and flavorful, and the food was just as good. Jay and Harley made the visit even better with their friendly service and positive energy. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming too. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

  Luv the customer service and the greetings every time I come in truly appreciate. One time I was pulling off from the tropical smoothie, went around a corner too fast and my drink spilled all over my car floor, so i went back to the store and they've replaced it with no problem. Thank you.

  Dear Manager, I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred today at your Tropical Smoothie Cafe location involving my daughter and a staff member who identified herself as the manager on duty. My daughter placed an order for a smoothie and requested that it be made with half sugar and not watery. After receiving the drink, she noticed it was watered down and politely asked if it could be remade. The employee refused and stated that this was “not how it works.” At that point, my daughter called me from the car, and I came inside. I observed that the situation had already escalated, with the employee arguing back and forth with my daughter. I stepped in and requested either a remake or a refund. The employee refused both, stating that a refund could not be issued because my daughter had taken a sip. I then asked to speak with a manager. The employee claimed she was the manager but refused to provide the name or contact information for a higher-level manager, stating that she would not disturb them on their day off. Throughout the interaction, the employee continued to argue rather than de-escalate the situation. I made multiple attempts to calm things down and suggested a reasonable solution—either provide the remaining order or allow us to return later for a refund. Instead, the employee continued to refuse service, withheld part of our order at one point, and escalated the situation further by threatening to call the police. Another employee briefly attempted to hand us the rest of our order, but this was interrupted when the same employee took the bag back and stated we could not have it. Eventually, the order was given to us, but not before the employee called the police and falsely claimed that we were being disruptive and refusing to leave. We left before police arrived. Since then, I have contacted customer service to report this incident. I also still have the items we purchased, which have been kept in the refrigerator. I would like to return to the store tomorrow to receive a refund. My concerns are as follows: • The employee’s unwillingness to provide basic customer service (remake or refund). • Her refusal to provide management contact information. • Her lack of professionalism and inability to de-escalate the situation. • The decision to escalate the situation unnecessarily by involving law enforcement. • The overall tone and treatment we received during this interaction. For context, I am also concerned about how comfortable the employee appeared in behaving this way. As a Black customer, I cannot ignore the possibility that bias may have influenced how this situation was handled. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
