  We ate here over the weekend as a party of 4. The service was decent at first but as we finished our food and drinks, it took quite a while for the server to bring the bill. At that point we were in a hurry to leave and didn't realize we had been automatically charged a 20% because our tab was over $100. Typically, at other restaurants, the automatic gratuity applies to tables of 6 or more so we weren't expecting it for our group of 4 and ended up tipping on top of that because we were anxious to leave. Make sure you read the receipt thoroughly; check for any added extras you didn't order and be prepared for the automatic 20% gratuity.

  Love this place! They have the best burritos and love the veg options. They go above and beyond for service. It's such a great spot.

  Our waiter, Alejandro, was amazing. Cocktails were delicious as was the food. Homemade salsas were terrific.

  This was my 1x/week "happy hour go to" for the past 6mos. But not anymore. Last night was the 2nd time I've been charged a mandatory gratuity while at the bar. The receipt states there's a mandatory gratuity for "parties over 6 or bills over $100). A friend joined me, LATER, and we requested separate checks. The restaurant still added a mandatory gratuity. When asked why; the "person in charge " stated that our bill was totally over $100. Our SEPERATE, BAR-seat bill. My bill was $83. My friends, separate bill, was over $65. The "person in charge " argued back and forth with my friend and says "you just don't want to pay enough for a tip." I didn't participate in the back and forth. Instead I was very disappointed bc: #1 my Italian Margarita had a "mildew smelling " orchid in it. I quietly told the bartender; she smelled it also. Removed the spoiled flower in the fridge, and replaced it. Then as I ate my Mezcal taco, I bit into an avocado shell (with the produce sticker still attached) and quietly notified my bartender. She offered apologies from the cooks. I accepted. For the record, the bartenders are nice the food is good. But I won't give money to an establishment that is being shady and rude. I ALWAYS tip very well.

  I've been here a few times. A mixed bag for service and the food is always good. JP is a nice and attentive manager and the soy chorizo shifted my perspective on life. Just amazing!
