We recently went back to Pars Restaurant after many years, and honestly, it was very disappointing. The food quality was far below what we expected. The koobideh, chicken, and barg didn’t taste right and even had an unpleasant smell. It didn’t feel like proper Persian food at all. The mast-o-khiar was very small for the price, and overall, the food just didn’t match how expensive it was. It’s really disappointing to see Persian food represented this way. A restaurant is supposed to show the real quality and flavor of a culture, and this just didn’t do that. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back, and we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for Persian food in the area.

This was our first time at this restaurant and having Persian cuisine. It was so good!! We got their Zereshk Polo with Chicken Tenderloin Kabab. It was great!! It came with delicious rolls and barley soup. I highly recommend it here. We will be going back again soon.

We used to visit this restaurant quite often and always had a great experience—until our last visit. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t the same quality as before; the lamb chops were tough and hard to cut or chew. Service also fell short. We ordered a large combo platter and requested a minor substitution, as we have done many times over the years, and were happy to pay extra. The waitress said it couldn’t be done and seemed annoyed when we asked to speak with the manager or owner. We were celebrating my birthday and had made a reservation, but no one informed us that alcohol wasn’t being served due to a “bar renovation.” We were then told that next time we would need to tell them in advance what we want so they can make sure to buy it. Really? It’s disappointing because we genuinely liked this place, but with so many other options around, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

All the food was placed very close together in the darkest part of the dining room, I assume because it was near the kitchen. There were no name tags for the dishes, so customers couldn’t tell what the food was or what ingredients, spices, or herbs were used in the stew. The food was also cold. Even the server couldn’t remember some of the items (like the okra). The worst part was when I asked for the bill. One of the servers came over holding the credit machine. I was waiting to see the bill and check the total, but suddenly she asked for my credit card. My card was already in my hand, and before I could say anything, she took it and tapped the machine. I asked how much it was, and she said, “Oh, do you want the receipt?” I said, “Of course.” When she gave me the receipt, I saw that she had added a 20% tip without my permission. I didn’t want to say anything in front of others, so I just left. But this is essentially taking money from customers without consent. If you go there, make sure not to keep your credit card in your hand, and don’t give it to them unless you’ve reviewed the bill. As for the food, the kebab was not grilled—it was baked. Overall, the quality of the food was not good.
