- L1Ladybugge 101Apr 5, 20261.0I was at the 5 guys on Gratiot and about to make my order but the person waiting on me had a stanky attitude. That person needed to go home and decompress. It was obvious that the stank attitude was a usual part of this persons day. Not sure what waited on me but it wasn’t human, extremely rude. Humans know how to enunciate and explain instead of rolling eye and pursing lips just because they ask a question. Seems like companies don’t consider how a person expresses themselves with anger or with do they know actually how to speak to people like a human. Just saying if I had acted like that when I worked with the public, my manager would not have put up with me or my peers not having pride in what we do, the company we work for nor pride in our selves. People like that run good decent companies out of business. When I am treated unkind I go to the competitor.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
