    Do not come here. The service is terrible. After waiting 45 minutes to be seated, we were finally shown to our table. Our waiter didn't come by for another 10 minutes, at which point we placed our order. The atmosphere was very loud, and it took almost an hour for our food to arrive, but when it did, my order was wrong. I had ordered the West Vernon omelette but received the veggie omelette instead. When I told the runner, they took it back to the kitchen. Within minutes, three different staff members came to quiz me about what I had ordered, as though they thought I was lying. This was the fastest anyone had moved all morning, yet no one offered an apology. Thirty minutes later, the correct omelette finally arrived, and our waiter apologized for the first time, thanking me for being "so kind and calm." The food itself was mediocre at best, bland and tasting as though no salt or pepper had been added to anything. After we finished eating, it took another 20 minutes to get our check. At this point, I just wanted to leave. The waiter used a portable payment machine that wasn't itemized and didn't even work, though he mentioned it had been malfunctioning recently. I'd seen other customers paying with traditional receipts. He stood there staring at me while I paid, so I tipped him even though I didn't want to. He then took my card to the working machine and brought back a paper receipt. The total seemed high, so I checked it carefully and discovered they had double-charged me for the omelette. I paid for three meals but only received two. When I requested a refund, they said they'd call me when it went through. I trusted them and left, not wanting to spend another minute there. Three days later, I still haven't received that call. It amazes me that this place still has 4 stars.

    Stopped in after attending Motor City Church (Sunday 8:30, 10:00; 11:30) next-door. There was a short wait, but we were seated fairly quickly. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us often. The food was good, and I really liked the crunch on top of the omelette. Pictured are the West Vernor Omelette and the Cheesecake Waffle. The wait for the food wasn’t bad at all—just a bit on the pricey side

    The only positive thing about this place was the coffee. Everything else was below a 1. The service was terrible, and there was absolutely no coordination between the staff and the kitchen. The menu is deceiving, and the portions are disappointing. There is something called system and standards — this place has neither. I’m honestly shocked that the hotel allows this level of chaos to operate under their name. Truly a 0-system experience, and I’m extremely disappointed.

    I ordered the West Vernor skillet and it started out great. The first potato was seasoned perfectly and was delicious. Unfortunately, the more I ate the saltier the dish became. I hope this wasn't supposed to be this way because it was borderline inedible. It's disappointing because I could tell that if it wasn't so salty they the dish would've been excellent. I'm hoping this was just a once off and that it isn't the case next time we visit. On a positive note, my wife's chicken and waffles and our freshly squeezed orange juice and lemonades were very tasty. Additionally , our server Michael was also great.

    Writing this review as I’m walking to my car and I’ll never return here . Came in at around 2pm and it’s 2:20 . I walked past the staff behind the bar with no greeting . And saw 2 servers walking back and forth for over 10 minutes without addressing me . Got a water at 2:12 and it wasn’t from a waiter I’m assuming because he didn’t give me a menu. I told myself at 2:15 I was getting up and leaving because for this restaurant to be in the Westin hotel I would assume the service would be 10/10 . Unfortunately I gathered my things and asked someone was I supposed to order before I sat down he then said “no one took your order?” I said I didn’t even get a menu and told him I was leaving . There was no apology , no intent to stop me to make the situation right. Do better for this upscale establishment . There was barely anyone in there for them to not acknowledge me whatsoever
