We were seated almost immediately, which was a great start. While they didn’t offer mimosas or Bloody Marys, the coffee was solid. We ordered the avocado toast and the Auburn Omelette, and I really appreciated how well the staff handled my wife’s dairy allergy.
The omelette flavors came together nicely overall, though the eggs themselves were a bit under-seasoned. Asking about butter, jam, or ketchup before the food arrived would have helped streamline the experience. One small service note: when seated with your back to the room, it can be hard to tell which table staff is addressing—approaching from the side would make things clearer.
Overall, a good brunch spot with quick seating and thoughtful allergy accommodations. A few small refinements would easily push this to a five-star experience.

Stopped by today after visiting the Musuem of Illusions on Woodward and left before our food was delivered.
The atmosphere was remarkable, service was okay and menu was limited. They were out of the biscuits and gravy.
We walked in around 11am without reservations and were able to get seated right away. There was a few other parties there but otherwise very quiet. Drinks were ordered. Coffee wasn't refilled as much as I would have preferred.
We waited just under an hour for our food. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our order to leave to make it somewhere else on time. So we did not get to experience their menu.

Only reason why I’m giving it two stars and not one is because the drinks were really good. Their syrups are house made. I had a blue raspberry lemonade that the waiter recommended and a French vanilla latte. Both of the drinks were super delicious.
Now the food on the other hand was super disappointing. I had the seafood omelette and I was very underwhelmed especially for $30. The crab on top tasted super fishy and not fresh. The omelette itself was okay, the seafood filling was just not it. There wasn’t any flavor plus the dish was cold.
This dish wasn’t my first choice. I wanted to order something else, but they were sold out. If you plan on going during the holidays, just be careful cause today they seemed to be sold out of everything.
It was me and five other people. Mostly everyone on my table received their food cold. Everyone in my party agreed that we definitely won’t be coming back again.
Just to end it on a good note I give five stars to our waiter. He was super kind and friendly, and made sure that everyone was taken care of.

Haus of Brunch absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the food was outstanding across the board.
Let’s start with the biscuits because they deserve their own spotlight—fluffy, buttery, golden on the outside, and downright addictive. Honestly, the biscuits alone are worth the visit.
The fried chicken breast was perfectly cooked: crispy, golden, and juicy with great seasoning throughout. It paired beautifully with the rest of the plate and never felt heavy or greasy. The breakfast potatoes were crisp on the outside and tender inside, full of flavor, and clearly cooked with care. The gravy was rich and comforting, tying everything together without overpowering the dish. Even the eggs were done right—simple, fresh, and well executed.
Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, well plated, and satisfying. Add in the friendly service and relaxed brunch vibe, and this place easily stands out.
If you’re in Detroit and looking for a top-tier brunch spot, Haus of Brunch is a must. Highly recommend—and we’ll absolutely be back

I decided to have a birthday brunch her but I honestly regret coming her because this place actually ruined my birthday for me and the group of friends I was with.
The only good thing was the saxophone and the interior is somewhat nice, but again that is the only good thing. My party was left for an hour after our water and other drinks were served by a waiter who could care less about us, which by the way the drinks were not even that good.
I came with a party of 5 and only 3 of us had gotten our food after maybe an hour and 10 minutes of waiting. My friend and her boyfriend still hadn't gotten their food and we waited another 20 minutes. This was all happening while another table that was sat almost the same as us paid and left and another table got sat and were served their steak and fried chicken.
It was an awful way to celebrate my birthday because I had to watch my boyfriend and my friends get upset on my birthday and this was something I had planned for us. I will admit they were apologetic but my friend and her boyfriend already told them they would just pay for their drinks and leave because they had a flight to catch afterword. However, once we asked for the cheque they tried to give their food and they said they didn't want it in the first place! They were trying to get us to pay for food that they didn't even eat!
Again my friend had to get up and argue hoe ridiculous this was over an hour and a half into our experience there. Eat at your own risk but I will not be back. Thank you for ruining my birthday brunch!
