Nice little place downtown! My wife and I ate there. They have breakfast sandwiches and you can get a breakfast burrito or a bowl. I got the spicy brisket bowl and my wife got the steak and egg bowl. You can make your bowl/burrito a meal adding hashbrown and drinks. We ordered at the kiosk and it was pretty easy once I figured out it was asking if I wanted a bowl or burrito. Let me tell you it was delicious. I will try to eat at this place again. Also had the red velvet coffee. It had graham cracker crumble it was very good. I don't know if you hear me but they do a 2$ taco Tuesday and also a pay it forward board...i guess you can pay for a meal ahead for someone in need which i thought was cool.

Holy "Effin Egg" this is AMAZING food and atmosphere!!! Incredibly warm and creative atmosphere that warms you like a soft hug from Aunty KyKy. I had the biscuit which was honey drizzled and soft with a buttery flakey exterior. Dense and filling it was perfect to get my belly ready for the real treat. "Brisskett and grits with Queso" which is a must try. The flavors blended perfectly. I have never tried this type of dish, so I just had to because of how well the whole place smells and looks. I am glad I did. Visit this place. It is well managed and owned by two sisters from Detroit and you can feel the soul circuit in the food. Congrats Ladies, 10/5 stars. You doubled my life with this food!!! Thank you Yolanda and Shalicia. Ya'll totally brought Deteoit home to me. Lucretia has a sharp eye and I see you ladies growing fast and phenominal. 🦁💜🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥳🥳😋😋💯🔥

You have to work hard to get a bad review from me, unsure if they didn't care today, but this was probably the worst breakfast I've ever had. My friend ordered the steak sandwich, it didn't have an egg on it. I got the sausage sandwich, which was fine at best, small as a slider. I also got a bagel, toasted with butter + cream cheese. It was cold with nothing on it. Even the coffee was luke warm at best. All that for $40. I'd rather get McDs at that point.

This was my first time going to Effin Egg, I was very impressed. I will be going back. Try the Chicken sandwich it's the best with an egg on top cook to your perfection. It's a very clean establishment. Children friendly. Great for small meetings.

Stopped here the night after seeing a rock show in Detroit. I ordered the Strawberry Cheescake Waffle and my companion ordered one of the breakfast sandwiches. I was super disappointed in the waffle. Looked like an eggo, but thinner. 1 strawberry 1/4'd and some syrup. For 11 bucks, I expect a decent size waffle that didn't come out of a toaster. That being said, the breakfast sandwich looked amazing and they said it was very good. Service wasn't very attentive to us, no welcome, no we'll be with you in a second, and literally 2 women walked right up to the counter. They were busy, so I can understand, but acknowledge your customers :)
